Position Overview
Drive FUJFILM Cellular Dynamics (FCDI) overall (both discovery research and therapeutics) marketing planning and execution, including strategic planning and positioning, portfolio expansion and offering, as well as tactical approaches. Lead the cross-functional One Cell Therapy marketing efforts to best position the combined cell-therapy CDMO offering for FCDI (Madison, WI) and FUJIFILM Biotechnologies (FLBC), (Thousand Oaks, CA) to the market. Contribute significantly to develop and execute the company's vision and commercial strategy development. Lead a team of product managers, marketing communications professionals, and own the annual strategy development process.

Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Strengthen and drive FCDI's and One Cell Therapy marketing capabilities with leadership across the portfolio and offer definition and market positioning.
Strategic Planning:
Drive the process (led by EVP of Strategy and Commercial) to establish the long-term strategy.
Ensure its annual refresh to align internal capabilities and offering with market needs and to ensure leadership position in iPSC/cell therapy market.
Marketing Activities:
Own the Marketing Plan, and its annual refresh (in alignment with the Strategic Plan).
Own the Marketing Plan execution, incl the development of customer-facing tools such as pitch decks, FAQs, playbooks, and annual editorial calendar to strengthen FCDI's expert voice in the market etc.
Oversee product management to deliver succinct and accurate product and offer requirements based on market needs and voice of customer.
Refine product pricing approach based on market positioning and sales and profit targets.
Establish, manage, and ensure a network of outside collaborators to ensure the delivery of marketing materials and external facing activities as required.
Establish the process to capture the voice of customers and prioritize new products / services to meet the evolving market demands.
Refresh and implement iPSC Go-To-Market strategies for product and services to support the Sales Teams and increase revenue growth and increase market share, including the development of a launch excellence roadmap with the goal of shortening the time to revenue for new iCell products in collaboration with the Product Management Team.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal and group partners around messaging, branding, and promotion strategies.
Work with partners across the network to monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
Engage with Finance to develop appropriate business case templates and processes to guide new product development.
Collaboratively engage with partners across Fujifilm Life Sciences' Marketing and Communications teams to leverage synergies and strengthen partnerships across the network.
Support the establishment of an advisory board and engagement with industry key opinion leaders to monitor industry relevance of offering.
Qualifications
10 or more years of marketing experience in the CDMO industry with a focus on cell and gene therapy products and services.
A bachelor's degree in biological science or similar field, an advanced degree preferred.
Results-oriented with excellent communication skills, business acumen, and strategic perspective focusing on market expansion and strategic positioning.
Strong market experience in services, cell therapy and iPSC product applications, and related technologies.
Ability to think strategically and to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills; able to build and maintain relationships with individuals and teams, and coach team members to deliver externally facing messaging.
Demonstrated ability to direct multiple large complex projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, develop action plans, and solve problems.
Strong leadership skills within cross functional teams and a global mindset; a demonstrated leader through influence.
On-site presence in Madison, WI, or Thousand Oaks, CA, at least once/month, with additional time spent at FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA, as needed.
Travel 25%, including occasional international travel.
