Position Overview:
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategic Development, will be a strategic visionary responsible for leading our supply chain into new domains. This role requires strong analytical skills, and excellence in collaboration and communication.

Options to be remote or onsite in Barberton or Euclid, Ohio; Lynchburg, Virginia; Tysons Corner, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Melbourne, Florida.
Your Day as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategic Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that balances immediate execution with long-term goals.
Build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate complex contracts, and align suppliers with cost, quality, flexibility, and delivery objectives.
Evaluate and develop key suppliers to meet company expectations for cost, quality, delivery, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Conduct supplier capability assessments to identify gaps and establish development roadmaps.
Support new product introductions and production ramp-ups by ensuring supplier readiness.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all supplier development activities.
Enhance efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Implement proactive risk management strategies to ensure supply continuity and resilience.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify and mitigate risks, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs.
Advocate for sustainability and operational excellence to support current and future growth.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on supplier capabilities and risk exposure.
Regularly present strategies and progress to internal stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation within enterprise systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, supplier development, quality, or operations within a complex manufacturing environment. Related experience in the aerospace, defense, nuclear, or heavy industrial industries strongly preferred.
Proven track record of successfully leading supplier improvement and development initiatives that resulted in measurable performance gains.
Strong working knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, NQA-1), root cause analysis, and lean six sigma tools.
Exceptional communication, project management, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and drive accountability at all levels.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 33%.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year.
