Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and impactful decision-making. You'll dive deep into complex financial datasets, craft compelling narratives from numbers, and partner closely with leadership to illuminate business opportunities and challenges.

We are a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team dedicated to supporting Prime Video's global mission. Our work goes beyond traditional financial reporting - we're strategic partners who help shape the future of entertainment technology and content delivery.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

MBA, or CPA

Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
