Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a junior Bradley Fighting Vehicle mechanic on a Department of Defense contract with our customer at Ft. Hood, TX. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Job Description:

Our customer is seeking six (6) motivated Junior Mechanics to join their team supporting Bradley Fighting Vehicle operations at Ft. Hood, TX.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs maintenance and repairs on Bradley Fighting Vehicles and other heavy military equipment

Travel may be required occasionally; flexibility for overtime as needed

Maintain and provide required mechanical tools per the company minimum tool list (90-day window to acquire missing tools)

Required:

At least three (3) years of general mechanic experience working on heavy equipment such as diesel trucks, semis, garbage trucks, buses, or construction equipment

Ability to meet the company minimum tool requirements within 90 days of hire

Preferred:

Ideally, candidates will have 20-level maintenance experience in the 91-series MOS (e.g., 91M, 91B, 91A, 91H).

Hands-on maintenance and repair experience required (operator-only experience not sufficient).

*Candidates with only operator experience will not be considered. Mechanic helpers must demonstrate hands-on maintenance and repair capabilities.
