General Job Summary

The Calibration Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency of the Test and Manufacturing departments by overseeing calibration schedules, maintaining equipment records, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of managing clerical and technical tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions

Communication & Coordination

Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear instruction and minimize errors.

Interfaces effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support calibration and equipment needs.

Multitasking & Organization

Manages multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Maintains accurate documentation and records related to equipment calibration and asset tracking.

Decision-Making & Problem Solving

Applies logical and analytical thinking to make informed decisions regarding equipment usage and maintenance.

Identifies potential issues proactively to prevent equipment failure and production delays.

Equipment Oversight

Ensure all test equipment is properly calibrated, functional, and compliant with internal and external standards.

Performs Asset Database Maintenance with minimal supervision following initial training.

Performance & Reliability

Maintains a strong attendance record and demonstrates reliability in daily operations.

Supports automated testing and product entry tasks as assigned.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with peers, supervisors, and external contacts.

Education and Experience

High school diploma

Must have 2 or more years of experience

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excell, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook)

Basic understanding of digital and RF electronics is preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Operates in a production environment with exposure to manufacturing equipment.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Performs repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Requires 20/20 vision and color vision (corrective lenses acceptable).
