The Employee Relations and Policies Associate Manager will be responsible for managing the various regulatory requirements in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. This includes the execution and implementation of new processes in accordance with new or revised regulations by such agencies such the OFCCP and the US Department of Labor. In this role, the Employee Relations and Policies Associate Manager will work with the various risk, ER, policy, and compliance teams to ensure the employment legal requirements within Accenture Federal Services are met. Responsibilities and expectations include:
Managing employee notifications to comply with legislative/compliance requirements including researching and responding to questions and escalations through shared mailbox (e.g., wage notices, meal and rest break requirements, Alberta vacation, Ontario excess hours, etc.)
Working with cross-functional teams in compliance, legal, risk, and HR to ensure AFS maintains Federal, State, and Local compliance.
Managing submission of required Federal, State, and Local government reports and surveys.
Supporting compliance administration through reporting, auditing and special projects (e.g., unemployment, employer notification, etc.)
Assisting in the job profile OT assessment process (e.g., interviews, preparing documents, initial review of mapping, etc.)
Assisting in the program management of projects as required and helping identify and implement process improvements including automation.
Providing support with creation of Affirmative Action Plans including data collection and monitoring processes to ensure compliance with OFCCP regulations.
Providing support with compliance reviews and direct responses to OFCCP/Government compliance reviews.
Ensuring compliance processes and requirements are implemented as legal, regulatory, financial, reputational risk are all inherently present in the compliance processes that this role helps to mitigate.
Providing day-to-day coaching, support and guidance to the various HR Partners.
Coaching employees and line managers in people-matters that involve employee relations or labor relations
Working with HR Partners, business partners, Security, Corporate Investigations, Global Conduct Counts Team and MDs and legal as needed for coordination within entity of employee and leadership to gain agreement on suggested actions/recommendations for resolving employee issues.
Identifying potential concerns and necessary inputs as well as developing potential solutions for considerations.
Owning and aiding the development of a compliance playbook and job aids for the AFS ER function
Here's What You Need:
Minimum of 10 years Human Resources experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Accenture HR Processes
Experience in area of employee relations, investigations
Experience managing and responding to external audits
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong sense of ownership and commitment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bonus Points:
Experience in US employment law and government compliance
Experience in recruiting and background check compliance
Strong analytical and reporting skills (Workday reporting preferred)
Proficient Excel Skills using formulas, pivot table, etc. for very large data sets
Excellent oral and written communication skills

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
