Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities Management, the Plant Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director of Facilities Management in the overall operation of the Plant Operations Department inclusive of administrative and technical operation. Performs and supervises preventive maintenance schedules. Scheduling and expediting operations and repair, supervises and assists with emergency and major repair jobs, and inspects building and grounds. Assists in ordering equipment and supplies. Responsible to detect, minimize, and control fires and fire hazards and conduct fire drills
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: high school, or GED, and least two years of college, or equivalent on the job experience.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of two (2) years health-care experience preferred.
Required Licensure: Maintenance Electric, EPA, or other license preferred.
Skills:
Successfully completes general and unit specific orientation.
Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Computer skills needed, plus, the ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
