Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale program. The ideal individual will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services.
Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor and update owners' Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Establish the schedule management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs.
Interface with relevant stakeholders as trusted advisors to provide guidance and recommendations for the program.
Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by client teams.
Conduct schedule of resource loading and leveling.
Consolidate contractors schedule to incorporate into IMS.
Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the program team.
Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action.
Apply EVM methodology to measure progress.
Review schedules with project and program team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated into the schedule.
Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
Assure the credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Project/Program specific responsibilities:
Experience working in fast-paced, mission critical environments is preferred.
Understanding of best practice relating to the delivery of a construction program is required, from project inception / initial due diligence activities through to commissioning and final closeout.
Ability to identify criticality of major milestones and phases throughout a project lifecycle, and be able to determine and discuss dependencies.
Experience of working with various cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and alignment of schedules without compromising your independence as a scheduler.
Ability to convert schedule data to reports and graphics that provide valuable insights.
Develop the Program Planning & Scheduling strategy, including processes, roles, responsibilities and expectations.
Market sector experience:
Experience in infrastructure is preferred, particularly in relation to the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector).
Program size in dollar value:
Experience of programs of c.$500m+ is advantageous
Software specific requirements:
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
Certification requirements:PSP certification by AACE in planning/scheduling is beneficial.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $145K-$170K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. ?Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
