As a Security Officer - Industrial Plant Patrol in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, document observations, and deliver customer service through clear communication. You will succeed by acting with integrity while staying agile, reliable, innovative, and team focused.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unsecured conditions.

Monitor access points and vehicle or foot traffic as assigned, verifying authorization and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site requirements.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing assistance, coordinating notifications, and documenting actions taken.

Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and notable observations, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
