Job Overview: Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will provide general clerical support as well as handling accounts payable (AP) tasks. This hybrid position is ideal for professionals with strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of clerical functions including filing, data entry, handling correspondence, and managing mail.

Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and coordinate meeting logistics.

Support accounts payable processes such as processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting with expense tracking.

Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation for AP and administrative functions.

Assist in preparing reports, memos, and presentations as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workflow improvements and daily operations.

Utilize office software and platforms to support efficient workflow and communication.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical support role, preferably with AP exposure.

Familiarity with invoice processing and AP procedures is highly valued.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and aptitude for learning new systems.

Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.

High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.

Adaptability and willingness to take on a variety of administrative and finance-related tasks.
