Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Cloudera Platform Engineer (HADOOP/CLOUDERA REQUIRED) to join their dynamic team. As a Cloudera Platform Engineer (HADOOP/CLOUDERA REQUIRED) , you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cloudera Platform Engineer (HADOOP/CLOUDERA REQUIRED)

Location: Addison, TX (preferred location)

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

Take ownership of project-related tasks and ensure successful completion.

Support and maintain Cloudera CDP Hadoop environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions.

Perform code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues within Hadoop ecosystems.

Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.

What's Needed?

7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in Data Engineering.

Proficiency in Cloudera CDP Hadoop Administration, Unix, and Infrastructure.

Strong skills in Spark, Python, Pyspark, Hive, and Impala.

Experience working in large Hadoop environments and performance tuning.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile team.
