As a Security Officer - Warehouse Gatekeeper in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and employees, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery logs, and monitor entry points and cameras to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site leaders. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Control access at entrances and exit points by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and driver logs.

Support dock and yard operations by screening incoming and outgoing trucks, monitoring trailer and seal information, and documenting shipping and receiving activity per site procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate personnel and completing required reports.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior perimeter, warehouse zones, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
