Accounting Faculty Member At HCC\'s Business Department, we\'re more

environment. For this Accounting Faculty position, we\'re looking for an
educator who is passionate about teaching - whether on-site, online, or
in a hybrid format - and who brings real-world accounting experience to
life for students. The ideal candidate communicates complex concepts
clearly, embraces innovation and technology, and contributes to the
department\'s supportive culture. We encourage applicants from all

and grow. Minimum Qualifications: Master\'s degree in Accounting,
Business, or a closely related field. Certified Public Accountant or
other relevant professional certification. Experience designing and
teaching engaging courses, including online, hybrid, or in-person
formats. Demonstrated ability to apply inclusive, student-centered
teaching practices and varied pedagogical strategies. Ability to
integrate technology into instruction, including QuickBooks and other
accounting and business applications. Willingness to teach across
multiple modalities (on-campus, hybrid, and online). Excellent written
and oral communication skills. Commitment to the mission of the
community college. Demonstrated success teaching and mentoring a diverse
student population. Preferred Qualifications: Post-Master\'s credits or
doctoral degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related
field. Certified Public Accountant or other relevant professional
certification. Demonstrated proficiency in community college teaching
and online course delivery. Experience teaching introductory and
advanced accounting courses. Experience using advanced accounting
software and data analytics tools. Ability to contribute to
interdisciplinary instruction within the Business Department. Full-Time,
Tenure-Track MCCC/MTA Position: Salary: Minimum \$57,013.00 -
\$65,725.00. Actual salary will be commensurate with education and
experience in accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Full State benefits. Funding: State. Start Date: August, 2026.
Additional Details: A teaching demonstration is a required part of the
interview process. Experience fostering partnerships with community
