CNC Machinist/Lathe/Mill Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machining tools and equipment, with a focus on precision and quality. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The Machinist will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components for our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to understand project requirements.

Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure precision in machining operations.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in operating Fanuc controls and programming CNC machines is preferred.

Experience with forklift operation for material handling is a plus.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

Competence in using hand tools for assembly and adjustments of machined parts.

.Ability to read blueprints accurately to ensure specifications are met

Experience with boring mills or 5 axis is ideal.
