Senior Risk Expert, Information Security (Tech Process and Controls Remediation) - Global Tech Assurance
As an Individual Contributor of the Information Security Global Tech (GT) Assurance team, this role will specialize in managing and driving audit finding and overall risk remediation efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of identified issues. In addition, the role will be expected to leverage the knowledge and lessons learned from driving risk remediation efforts to identify, manage and execute holistic remediation projects across the enterprise.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective action plans, while continuously driving / monitoring progress and reporting on the status of remediation efforts. In addition, you will play a key role in leading the execution of holistic remediation across the enterprise, through the implementation and remediation of controls to address enterprise risk and audit findings. Examples of activities include but are not limited to understanding and communicating technology risk to both audit and technology stakeholders, technical risk alignment and proactive engagement with Global Tech teams to identify and execute risk remediation efforts and organizing and presenting evidence of risk remediation to both audit and technology stakeholders. You will collaborate with various business subject matter resources, audit teams, and technology teams to achieve our objectives. As a Senior Risk Expert, you'll have the following responsibilities: · Support the planning and delivery of governance, risk and compliance artifacts for large cross-functional security strategic objectives. · Participate in risk planning for the Tech Assurance team. · Independently resolve ambiguous situations with conflicting business and product strategies. · Collaborate with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that controls are in place and documented to deliver risk reduction for Global Tech strategic initiatives, while ensuring that the outcome effectively remediates the defined risk. · A successful candidate in this role will continuously track the progress of strategic initiatives, measure performance against established goals, and ensure that corrective actions are taken when necessary to keep the deliverable on track and within budget. · They will provide regular updates on the status of the strategic initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting any issues or risks that may impact the project's success and recommending appropriate solutions. · Provide technical support and serve as a technology risk subject matter expert to internal stakeholders charged with implementing and remediating technology risk. · Acquire knowledge of risk trends and themes throughout the enterprise, develop insights on those trends, and share strategies with leadership on effective holistic remediation of those trends. · Analyze findings and insights, to prioritize requirements for addressing holistic risk remediation throughout the enterprise. · Effectively influence technical teams to prioritize holistic risk remediation. · Guide and mentor team members to follow established practices for the delivery of technology assurance services, meeting quality, speed, innovation and create impact. What you'll bring... · Proactive execution: Most of the job entails engaging with multiple stakeholders to plan, organize and execute on complex technology remediation controls. This requires the candidate to be extremely proactive in ensuring and tracking that tasks are completed on time; stakeholders are informed and potential roadblocks to risk remediation are called out early and often. · Strong organization and planning: A successful candidate should be skilled in organizing resources, setting priorities, and creating detailed project plans that account for potential risks and contingencies. This includes the ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and keep track of tasks and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. · Analytical and Critical Thinking: Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks associated with technology use and implementation. They should be able to assess complex situations, gather relevant data, and draw logical conclusions to provide actionable recommendations. · Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Needs to have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey their findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. They must be able to present complex information in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner to facilitate decision-making and risk mitigation. · Adaptability and flexibility: Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances, learn new skills, and embrace new technologies is essential for staying ahead in a constantly evolving industry. A successful candidate should be open to change and able to pivot quickly when necessary. · Time management and organizational skills: Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously is a key aspect of this role. A successful candidate must be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organization. · Technical acumen: As you will be dealing with a variety of technical stakeholders, having a baseline understanding of technology and technical concepts will be important to establish report and build credibility with our stakeholders. · Knowledge of data analysis and risk management · Certified in a relevant risk field is a plus (CISSP, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, etc.) · Good understanding of IT regulatory standards and frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL, etc.) · Methodical and systematic problem-solving approach, combined with a solid awareness of ownership, initiative, and drive · Ability to work collaboratively across different teams · Influence Technical Teams to achieve desired objectives · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
