JOB REQUIREMENTS: Columbia County District Attorney\'s Office seeking individual with experienced legal background to work full time (40 hrs/wk) assisting attorneys with preparing documents, maintaining files, fulfilling discovery requests, scheduling court appearances, and communicating with various law enforcement agencies. Requires contact with the public, various law enforcement agencies, court records, public institutions, public officials, and private lawyers. Business or Associate Degree from accredited college, university or technical school and minimum six (6) months office experience, OR High School diploma or equivalent, supplemented by post high school course work at a vocational, college, or technical school and a minimum of two (2) years of work related office experience. Computer experience required with legal or court work experience desirable. Starting wage: \$24.679 per hour. Keep and monitor legal volumes to ensure that law library is up-to-date. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for and individual who has an experienced legal background to work full time (40 hrs/wk) assisting attorneys with preparing documents, maintaining files, fulfilling discovery requests, scheduling court appearances, and communicating with various law enforcement agencies.
