We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst - Banking Payments using APIs - HYBRID to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in transactional banking, API-driven platforms, and Java/Spring Boot environments. The role bridges business needs with technical delivery across microservices, Oracle integrations, and OpenShift deployments.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Gather and document business and functional requirements for payments, cash management, and transaction processing.

Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, API specs, and acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with architects and developers to design API and microservice solutions (Java/Spring Boot).

Analyze data flows, integration points, Oracle queries, and backend systems.

Support API testing, SIT/UAT, defect analysis, and production readiness.

Work with DevOps teams on OpenShift deployments and CI/CD processes.

Maintain documentation (BRDs, FSDs, mappings, sequence diagrams).

Minimum Requirements:

5-8+ years as a Technical BA in banking.

3+ years transactional banking (ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, RTP, liquidity).

3+ years with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST API designs.

3+ years experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and system integrations.

3+ years proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman.

Preferred Skills

Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management abilities.

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail in Agile delivery environments.

Hands-on exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes-based environments.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,948 - $164,476. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
