Wells Fargo is back in the office collaborating for fabulous outcomes!

This role is a hybrid role and in the office three days a week.

Step into a high-impact engineering role where you'll help modernize and elevate the platforms and automations that support developers across a large, enterprise-scale organization. In this hands-on position, you'll work with a dynamic tech stack-.NET, React, microservices, SQL, MongoDB, and cloud technologies-to build smarter and more intuitive solutions that streamline compliance workflows. You'll tackle meaningful engineering challenges, including application development, automation work, regression testing, production support, event response, and delivering actionable reporting and data enhancements. In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Ensure adherence to the Banking Platform Architecture, and meeting non-functional requirements with each release

Partner with, engage with architects, and principal engineers to incorporate Wells Fargo Technology technical strategies.

Function as the technical representative for the product during cross-team collaborative efforts and planning

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of .NET programming experience

3+ years of experience using React/Angular/Java script for front end development,

3+ years of SQL, Database experience

3+ years of Agile experience

Desired Qualifications:

2+ years development in a Kubernetes environment

Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts, querying, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools

Production Support experience

Gen AI skills / development expertise is a plus

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
