What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.
Analyze and translate system requirements into software specifications and designs.
Implement, test, and debug software solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and development processes.
Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
Experience DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies.
Experience with software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies.
Qualifications We Prefer
Familiarity with real-time embedded systems or aerospace/defense applications.
Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
Exposure to cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Experience with software testing and debugging tools.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
