Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer specializing in insulation and roofing materials, with products distributed to major suppliers. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and installing electrical systems within a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

Connect with the maintenance manager and electrician team daily to receive work orders and set expectations.

Work on conveyors, ovens, and slitters as part of the plant's 24/7 operations.

Install and repair electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment including motors, regulators, controllers, generators, and switches.

Inspect electrical equipment and machinery, diagnose faults, determine corrective actions, and document repairs.

Stay updated with the latest electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial lighting equipment.

Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, and DCS with minimal engineering assistance.

Document electrical changes by updating plant drawings and ensure all wires and devices are labeled accurately.

Assist junior maintenance personnel with electrical symbols and check drawings for accuracy.

Essential Skills

Strong industrial electrician experience with robust troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in PLC maintenance, ladder logic, and working with PLC cabinets.

Familiarity with 24V, 4160V systems, NFP 70 E, and ARC Flash Safety.

Experience with SAP ERP and CMMS systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with 480 voltage systems and conveyor systems.

Work Environment

Safety gear such as steel-toe boots and safety goggles are required. The first year includes a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with expected overtime.
