Position: Front Desk Administrative Assistant

Pay: $19-$22 per hour

Work Model: Fully on-site (no hybrid or remote)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8/9 AM-5 PM

This role begins as a contract position with the potential to convert to full-time hire (CTH). Conversion will depend on factors such as personality fit, performance, reliability, and attendance. At minimum, the assignment will provide 2-4 months of coverage, with the possibility of extending based on business needs and individual success.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Phone Management

Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally

Greet visitors and maintain a welcoming front desk environment

Office Supplies & Inventory

Monitor and order office supplies

Maintain organized supply storage

Mail & Correspondence

Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages

Prepare outgoing mail and shipments

Document Preparation

Draft and format letters, memos, and other correspondence

Assist with basic data entry and filing

Staff Support

Provide general administrative assistance to staff

Schedule meetings and maintain calendars

General Office Duties

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lanham, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
