We're seeking a Construction Administration Coordinator to be based in Irvine, CA responsible for supporting the administration and enforcement of construction document control. As a member of our CCA team, you will help lead Construction Administration projects consisting of multi-discipline teams of engineers and architects from client bid support through construction to beneficial occupancy and project closeout. You will support federal projects for the United States Depart of Defense (DoD) clients, Federal Civilian @type contracts, and various Defense Contractors with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery methods. You'll support the CCA Manager as a liaison between the company and our client representatives, managing sensitive files and the flow of information. A knowledge of building systems and/or architectural and engineering systems is desired. - Ability to review and comprehend Division 01 specifications, General and Supplemental Conditions in conjunction with the Design Team. - Manage the flow of construction-related documents, including input and recording data in a web-based Construction Information System (CIS). - Organize and maintain project specific CCA procedures manuals, project filing systems, and the document control system within the CIS system and corporate network drive. - Support the CCA Manager to coordinate team meetings, minutes, and action items related to project discussions. - Coordinate with QA review team in the review and deadline completion of requests for interpretations (RFIs). - Process actionable and information only submittals (i.e., shop drawings, product data, samples) for review and other aspects of the project as defined by contract language. - Implement and maintain logs for recording project documentation. - Track deadlines and assist CCA Manager with managing the associated review documents as defined by the contract requirements. - Responsible for internal team communication and deadline tracking, including reminders and follow-ups with the technical team and CCA Manager as deadlines approach. - When applicable, provide completeness reviews ahead CCA Managers review and distribution to client. - Assist in technical document quality control and constructability reviews during the design process. - Understand relationships, roles, and responsibilities of the project team related to subcontracts and subcontractors. - Coordinate Base access and security requirements. Here's What You'll Need: - Knowledge and working sense of Construction Information Systems (CIS), Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Bluebeam. - Certification as a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) from the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), preferred. - Previous experience working with federal projects for DoD clients, Federal Civilian, and various Defense Contractors such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) is preferred. - United States Citizenship.
