Position is responsible for the function and supervision of the facility's electrical maintenance, which includes the documentation, repair and fabrication of the necessary equipment associated with the general plant and production lines through the supervision and planning of maintenance personnel.
Directly supervises the hourly skilled electrical/maintenance employees in the improvement and maintenance of plant equipment, building maintenance, machinery, utilities etc. Will lead shift safety meetings to ensure compliance to all safety, environmental and health policies, procedures, and practices.
Supervisor is held accountable to ensure maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with all EHS requirements, compliance with legal and company policies, and procedures
Support the development and integration of the PLC based automated production systems.
Work with power/control circuitry, DC drives, AC drives, and automated electromechanical equipment utilizing AC & DC solid-state components associated with automatic material handling equipment.
Provides key leadership while promoting positive employee relations within the maintenance team. Consistently and equitably, enforce plant rules, holding crewmembers accountable for all facets of their jobs.
Organize and structure planned and unplanned repairs and preventive maintenance routines in a manner that will ensure efficient operation of equipment and plant operating systems.
Assists in performing root-cause analysis as well as implementing sustainable countermeasures on losses related to equipment/machinery failure.
Maintains workplace organization to ensure good housekeeping (5S) by holding employees responsible for their assigned work areas.
Reviews and approves employee time in the UKG timekeeping system and ensures employees are paid the correct hours and wages in accordance with the respective sites pay policies and procedures or collective bargaining agreements.
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

4 year engineering degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)
Journeyman Electrician or equivalent electrical trade experience
skills utilized in maintenance manufacturing improvement. Required
Practical/Technical Knowledge
High level of knowledge/understanding of Preventive Maintenance (PM) tracking systems. Required
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and safety practices. Required
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Required
Ability to lead small to medium sized cross-functional teams under high-pressure environments. Required
General understanding of ISO methodology (ISO 9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001)
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S & Six Sigma a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. Required
Proficient in use of MS Office (familiarity with UKG and SAP systems) - high level knowledge of computer systems/programs especially in areas of preventive maintenance solutions/tracking. Required
Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution
Pay Transparency:
Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $79,500.00 to $123,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,450.00 to $135,850.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
