Reference #: 5214371 THE POSITION The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institute at Huntingdon is seeking an organized, positive individual to provide clerical support. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 2 you will provide clerical and office support to the Facilities Management department for the DSFM, Majors, and the Maintenance Manager to ensure all reports are accurate and submitted timely, payroll/leave entered timely, take meeting minutes, @type/distribute letters and memos, assist with prepping for audits.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
