Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant with a minimum of one year of experience in a related position to support the company by coordinating work and communication within and across departments. This role involves reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and ensuring smooth and efficient information flow.

Responsibilities

Coordinate specific work tasks with personnel within the department and other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

Abide by current laws and organizational policies to promote a work environment free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior.

Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule, compile necessary information, and provide data to appropriate personnel.

Provide excellent customer service for all pickups and deliveries entering the front office.

Essential Skills

Experience in administrative assistance, customer service, and administration.

Proficiency in data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.

Strong reading, writing, grammar, organizational, and mathematical skills.

Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.

Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less.

Valid driver's license is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

Familiarity with scanning and front desk administrative support.

Work Environment

This role requires strong computer skills, particularly in data entry and Excel usage. The position is based at the front desk, where you will greet and direct visitors. Some tasks may require time outdoors or in buildings that are not temperature-controlled. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollidaysburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
