How You'll Make an Impact
As a Lead Software Engineer on the Epsilon PeopleCloud Discovery platform, you will help power data-driven marketing at massive scale. You will design, build, and optimize the core software, data pipelines, and APIs that enable deep audience insights, advanced analytics, and digital activation across millions of consumers.
Your work will directly influence the reliability, scalability, and performance of Epsilon's data and analytics platform, helping teams transform large, complex datasets into actionable intelligence while upholding privacy-by-design principles.
What You'll Achieve
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, production-ready software components supporting the Epsilon PeopleCloud platform
Expand and optimize distributed architectures, data flows, APIs, and infrastructure to support large-scale analytics workloads
Lead the development of new features and components that generate insights from large datasets using Databricks
Partner closely with product, engineering leadership, and cross-functional teams to plan, build, and deploy new capabilities
Improve system reliability, automation, and operational efficiency by identifying and eliminating technical redundancies
Drive architectural evaluations and technical discussions with internal and external partners
Mentor and guide a small team of engineers through hands-on leadership, code reviews, and technical collaboration
Who You Are
What You'll Bring With You
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Related Field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or data engineering, working on complex, distributed systems
Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Python, Java, or Scala
Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Deep understanding of distributed computing, scalability, and software architecture principles
Strong SQL skills with experience in data warehousing, data streaming, and relational databases
Hands-on experience with Databricks technologies, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, and Live Tables
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Test-Driven Development
Experience working in agile, global scrum teams
Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines

Base Salary: $119,600 - $222,000
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
