Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger entries to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Perform comprehensive month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and analysis.

Prepare and post journal entries for various accounts and activities.

Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and balances.

Analyze inventory accounting to support manufacturing operations.

Utilize Excel for data analysis, including creating pivot tables and applying advanced formulas such as XLookups and VLookups.

Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.

At least 4 years of overall accounting experience.

Familiarity with manufacturing environments and inventory accounting is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, XLookups, and VLookups.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial analyses.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrated eagerness to grow and develop professionally within the accounting field.
