Conduct of Operations Coach
Position Overview:
The Conduct of Operations Coach is responsible for instilling positive performance-based behaviors with respect to the implementation of Conduct of Operations standards and expectations. The position is expected to mentor/provide feedback to drive behavior, ensuring operations reflect strong conduct of operations and nuclear safety culture principles. The position will reinforce desired, safe behaviors and coach for undesired at-risk behaviors.

Onsite in Erwin, Tennessee.
Your Day to Day as a Conduct of Operations Coach:
Engage and mentor all levels of workers, supervisors, and managers to ensure a fundamental, detailed, and integrated understanding of formality of operations requirements is attained. This integrated understanding includes principles of Conduct of Operations, Human Performance, NFS Core Values, Work-Place Priorities, Conduct of Business Attributes, maintenance/work planning and behaviors of a healthy Safety Culture.
Observe field performance across all shifts as assigned by management to reinforce procedure use and adherence, execution of stop-work authority and coach and mentor as necessary.
Attend Pre-Job Briefings to ensure an appropriate level of detail is discussed for the scheduled activity.
Assist Human Performance Management in advancing the practices/skills of supervision for observation, coaching, and mentoring, and to reinforce the use of error prevention techniques by operators.
In conjunction with the Training Manager, provide oversight and direction to provide the most effective means to utilize the simulation lab.
Advise on development of corrective actions (e.g. procedure changes) to ensure that institution and facility expectations and requirements are met.
Maintain knowledge of and demonstrate ability to perform work safely in accordance with approved safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations and perform assigned duties in a safe manner.
Communicate frequently with management to ensure awareness and understanding of conduct of operations issues.
Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. -- Science, Education, or related degree OR in lieu of B. S. degree 8 years' experience in training environment or in assigned program area (operations or safety).
Six to eight years' experience in training environment or in assigned program area.
Experience with radiological safety training program requirements preferred.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
