?? What You'll Do

You'll be a key player in ensuring our electric vehicles operate at peak performance. Your day-to-day impact includes:

Executing repair orders with accuracy, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship

Diagnosing malfunctions using schematics, diagnostic tools, and EV-specific technology

Collaborating with the parts department to secure required components

Tagging and saving parts for warranty or technical review

Inspecting vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs

Communicating clearly with the shop foreman regarding timelines, additional work, or repair challenges

Documenting all work performed and recommended services

Road-testing vehicles when needed

Staying current with manufacturer training, technical bulletins, and recall information

Mentoring and supporting fellow technicians

Reporting equipment issues and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Operating tools and equipment responsibly and reporting safety concerns immediately

Your expertise helps keep our EV fleet running smoothly. We're looking for:

Strong automotive troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills

Experience with electric vehicle systems and components

Ability to diagnose complex repair issues

Proficiency with diagnostic testing tools and software

Solid preventive maintenance experience

?? Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional repair shop

Proven ability to meet productivity, efficiency, and quality KPIs

Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM (required)

Work Environment

Work at the depot in San Francisco, supporting the maintenance of incoming vehicles. A certified technical trainer will provide training, including a two-week program in Arizona.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
