Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician Job Description

As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will integrate electrical components, subassemblies, products, or systems into various configurations by wiring components together on a panel, board, or piece of equipment. This role requires you to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.

Responsibilities

Integrate electrical components, subassemblies, products, or systems into various configurations.

Wire components together on a panel, board, or piece of equipment by reading/interpreting electrical schematics.

Measure, cut, strip, and crimp electrical wire.

Work with wiring harnesses, fans, and components on panels, boards, and rails.

Mount and assemble electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, and controllers.

Assemble and attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.

Utilize common hand tools and measuring tools, including reading a tape measure to 1/8th inch.

Essential Skills

Experience in wiring, schematic reading, crimping, cutting, and stripping electrical wire.

Proficiency in working with electrical wire and wiring harnesses.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Experience with mounting and assembling electrical components and hardware.

Competency in using measuring tools and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
