About the role
Kerry is seeking a high-performing National Key Account Manager to lead and grow our U.S. Natural Channel retail business for the Bio-K+ probiotic portfolio. This role will own relationships with key retailers and distributors-including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, UNFI, and KeHE-and play a critical role in accelerating Bio-K+'s growth in the natural, specialty, and wellness categories.

Key responsibilities
Account & Channel Leadership
Own and manage national and regional natural retail accounts including Whole Foods, Sprouts, and other natural/specialty retailers.
Develop and execute natural channel sales strategies aligned to organizational goals.
Build account-specific growth plans encompassing distribution expansion, promotional strategy, and innovation launches.
Lead annual planning, line reviews, pricing negotiations, and trade spend management.
Partner with brokers and territory managers to deliver on channel priorities.
Represent Bio-K+ at key trade shows (occasional weekends/evenings).
Distributor Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for UNFI and KeHE.
Manage forecasts, inventory flow, deductions, system accuracy, and performance KPIs.
Work closely with distributor teams to increase velocity, reduce out-of-stocks, and improve in-stock rates across accounts.
Forecasting & Demand Planning
Own the natural channel sales forecast with a high level of accuracy, taking into account refrigerated product constraints.
Collaborate regularly with supply chain and demand planning teams to match production with real-time demand.
Monitor trends, velocities, promotional impact, and seasonality to adjust forecasts proactively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Marketing, Operations, and cross-functional leadership to ensure seamless execution.
Work with marketing on trade marketing, retailer activations, and trade show support.
Lead communication between customers and internal teams for major projects and new product launches.
Business Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze sales performance, distribution, velocities, and promotional ROI.
Identify risks, opportunities, and insights to share with leadership and cross-functional partners.
Deliver regular reporting that drives better decisions and stronger business outcomes.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Communications, or related preferred).
5+ years of natural channel sales experience within CPG, supplements, or functional foods.
Proven success managing Whole Foods, Sprouts, and other natural/specialty retail accounts.
Strong working knowledge of UNFI and KeHE systems, forecasting, and distributor management.
Experience with refrigerated, perishable, or short shelf-life products strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in demand planning and partnering closely with supply chain.
Passion for the supplement and wellness industry, especially probiotics.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel 20-25%, primarily within the U.S.; occasional travel to the Quebec manufacturing site.
The pay range for this position is $88,000-$163,700 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
