On Call Receptionist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Tysons Corner, Virginia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors with courtesy and professionalism.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments.

Manage appointment scheduling and maintain calendars efficiently.

Perform general receptionist duties, including handling inquiries and correspondence.

Support administrative tasks such as handling mailings, filing and data entry as required.

Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable at all times.

Provide information and assistance to customers in a timely manner.

Collaborate with other team members to enhance office operations.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist or similar role.

Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and switchboards

Familiarity with receptionist duties and office protocols.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools or similar software.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

A welcoming demeanor with attention to detail, suitable for front-desk interactions.

Availability to work part-time hours as needed.
