Equitable is seeking a skilled Benefit EDI Analyst to manage and optimize the electronic data interchange (EDI) processes for our benefits systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You'll serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, driving clear communication and resolving issues quickly. Your focus on root cause analysis and data integrity will help deliver exceptional client satisfaction and maintain the overall health of our data files.

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver EDI requests on time and with precision, meeting SLA standards for accuracy and timeliness.
Build strong client relationships by communicating best practices, promoting data integrity, and balancing business needs effectively.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Resolve discrepancies promptly, providing clear, accurate responses aligned with company policies and values.
Collaborate across departments to develop solutions for recurring issues, engaging IT resources when necessary.
Demonstrate expertise in file mapping and share technical knowledge to support team development.
Apply strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions.
Conduct thorough testing of technology changes using UAT and enhanced tools to ensure successful implementation.
Proactively monitor data and anticipate downstream impacts, mitigating risks before they occur.
Partner with external vendors to streamline processes and meet testing timelines efficiently.
This position offers a remote work schedule that allows you to stay fully engaged with your team to provide outstanding, customer-focused service during our core hours. Periodic office visits may be requested based on business needs.
The base salary range for this position is $57,000 - $70,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience
2 years of hands-on experience in electronic data interchange (EDI)
Proven customer service experience with familiarity in the following products: Life/AD&D, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously while maintaining composure and attention to detail
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Employee Navigator or Ease a big plus
Familiarity with SQL coding for troubleshooting
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues and develop innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations, considering multiple perspectives
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment while managing changing priorities and deadlines effectively

Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness. Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work. Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate. Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.
Planning: Produces, collates, and reports capacity-related measurements to examine application service levels. Analyzes capacity data and identifies common capacity problems or bottlenecks. Assesses the relationship between capacity, performance, and service level requirements. Works with developers and users to plan resource requirements for networks or systems under development. Applies appropriate tools and methods for capacity planning & performance management of applications.
