Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL) in the Navy Recruiting District of NRD CHICAGO. Responsibilities You will revise information from personnel records or files to maintain accuracy. You will update customers on the status of requested information. You will explain personnel processes, requirements, or procedures to employees. You will extract data from a human resources information system for use in reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of s experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using personnel policies, procedures, rules and regulations to maintain personnel records; 2)Ensuring applicants meet basic eligibility requirements for specific programs; 3)Using human resources automated systems to research information in personnel records and databases; and 4) Responding to inquiries regarding human resources issues.
