Examples of Duties for Success
Receives direct supervision from Deputy Director of Recording, and/or Recording Lead Tech.
Assists the public in person and over the phone with recording documents, marriage licenses, and general questions.
Proficiency in cash management, ensuring correct fees are collected per statutory requirements.
Accuracy in data entry and attention to detail is a must.
Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with a team and the public.
Committed to the priorities of the Office of the Clerk & Recorder.
Assists in other areas of the Clerk and Recorder's office as needed.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities based on workload.

Ability to learn Colorado real property statutes.
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.
More Qualifications for Success
Experience:
One (1) year of job experience that includes cashiering, general office work, and customer service.
Data entry experience
Knowledge of real property statutes, forms and documents are preferred but not required.
Education & Training: Must be able to read and write at a high school level.
License Or Certificate: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
