Job Title: Histology Technician

Location: Bothell, WA

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Type: Contract

Compensation: $35-$42.20/hr

Overview

The Histology Technician will support spatial biology research focused on antibody-based therapeutic targets. This role contributes hands-on histology expertise to a collaborative lab environment, supporting multiple projects through sample processing and immunohistochemistry execution.

Responsibilities

Process biological samples for downstream histological and spatial biology analyses.

Perform immunohistochemistry (IHC) experiments using automated staining platforms.

Conduct routine histology laboratory maintenance and upkeep.

Maintain, organize, and catalog biospecimen inventories and repositories.

Document experiments and sample data using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Collaborate with scientists across multiple projects to support research objectives.

Qualifications

BS or BA in a biological science or related field.

1-2+ years of laboratory experience in a research or histology setting.

Hands-on experience with histopathology techniques.

Experience with tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning; preference for certified Histology Technicians (HT).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional research environment.

Willingness and aptitude to learn new techniques, tools, and technologies.
