Our client, a leading industrial organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring smooth operations by managing inventory and supporting production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $15.50

Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

What's the Job?

Support production associates by receiving, dispensing, and maintaining inventory in vertical storage units and on the shop floor

Utilize the ERP system for all inventory transactions accurately

Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels and report any issues to the Team Leader

Pull components for work orders, print labels, and ensure proper storage and sequencing

Operate forklifts and other approved equipment to transport materials between departments

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year forklift operation experience

Basic math skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret English language

Valid driver's license

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for long periods
