Job Title: Utility/Production Worker 3rd Shift Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Utility Production Workers. The role involves palletizing plastic pipes after they come off the production line. Responsibilities include building pallets to the correct number and length, wrapping pallets, and preparing them for shipment.

Responsibilities

Palletize plastic pipes efficiently after they come off the production line.

Build pallets to the specified number and length.

Wrap pallets securely and prepare them for shipment.

Work both inside the manufacturing facility and outside in the shipping yard as needed.

Essential Skills

Prior manufacturing or production experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with general labor, production, and utility work is advantageous.

Willingness to pass a 5-panel drug test before starting and a hair follicle test before permanent employment.

Openness to working overtime is necessary for those seeking permanent positions.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a manufacturing environment that produces plastic pipes. The shipping yard, where pipes are stored, has large bay doors that may be open or shut regularly, exposing workers to the elements. The available shifts include 1st (8am-4pm), 2nd (4pm-12am), and 3rd (12am-8am) with paid breaks and lunch. The role requires flexibility for working 7 days a week, especially during the busy season.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MECHANICSBURG, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
