Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team at our Loucks Mill Road location. This role involves a variety of labor tasks including sweeping, shoveling, cleaning, carrying a wheelbarrow, and removing excess materials from the floor. You will also be responsible for cleaning machinery and dies using air tools and air chisels.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, and cleaning.

Carry and maneuver wheelbarrows for material transport.

Clean up trash along streets and remove excess materials from floors.

Utilize air tools and air chisels to clean machinery and dies after use.

Participate in training for forklift and machinery operation after initial labor duties.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude.

Familiarity with hand, power, and air tools.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs multiple times per shift.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors and can be dusty and dirty, with loud machinery noise. During colder months, the garage doors are closed to retain heat. The team consists of 8 employees, running a single shift from 7 AM to 4 PM Monday to Thursday, and 7 AM to 3 PM on Friday. Employees should be prepared for the physical demands and conditions of the work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
