WHY YOU SHOULD MAKE THE MOVE: Manage Seamless Onboarding Develop and implement recurring onboarding and training sessions for employees at hire, 30 days later, 60 days later, and 12 months later. Evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding and follow-up sessions through surveys and recommend enhancements and modifications to ensure new employees have positive onboarding and initial work experiences. Coordinate with hiring managers, HR generalists, and payroll to ensure onboarding tasks are completed. Coordinate with the new employee and hiring manager to ensure the employee is welcomed and introduced to the agency. Support HR Operations and Compliance Review, update, and revise HR communications, documents, and guides for accuracy and accessibility. Assist HR generalists with employee communications related to HR policies and procedures. Initiate, file, and maintain various HR-related documents. Track completion and compliance of required human resource activities and assist HR generalists with employee and manager communication to ensure requirements are met. Support Recruitment and Selection Strategy Partner with hiring teams to educate and advise about recruitment and selection best practices, interview processes, and strategies. Attend and professionally represent DNRC at strategically identified career fairs, coordinate with field staff, and develop external recruitment strategies such as social media posts, flyers, and speaking events at schools. Build Relationships and Candidate Experiences Foster and build relationships with potential candidates through positive candidate experiences, such as timely and thorough responses. Participate in training hiring managers and panelists on hiring best practices and processes. Prepare and conduct interviews, ensure panel members are following established policies and best practices, and coordinate selection materials and documentation. Prepare offer letters, communicate with candidates for acceptance, and ensure the recruitment and selection process follows established policy, procedures, and is properly documented. Minimum Qualifications Alternative combinations of the education and experience listed below will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Five years of experience in related field (combination of education and experience). Preferred experience includes aBachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational development, or related field and one year of specialized human resource-related experience.
