This is position is essential to the success of our retail stores. The Spray Equipment Repairer and Coordinator work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about spray equipment products and repairs, and recommend the right solutions. Spray Equipment Repairer and Coordinator are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store. Spray Equipment Repairer and Coordinator are tasked with achieving excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store's sales goals.Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at store # 721186, located at: 1 Dalfanso Road, Newburgh, NY 12550Perform repairs on all @types of spray equipment (e.g. airless, conventional, electrostatic, pressure washers) at the store, or at customers' job sitesRepairing branch tinting and mixing equipmentEducating other employees and customers on spray equipmentMaintain inventory levels of spray parts and locating out-of-stock parts, as necessaryMinimum Requirements:18 years of age or olderLegally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the futureBe able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationWillingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodationOperate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, etc.) safely once trained, with or without reasonable accommodationIf internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisalIf internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current positionPreferred Qualifications:Prior work experience in retail or customer serviceCustomer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaintsGood written and verbal communication skillsPrior experience with repairing spray equipmentHigh school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)Valid driver's licenseAbility to speak more than one language: preferably Spanish Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
