Join Boeing's Global Real Estate & Facilities Engineering team in Mesa, AZ where you will help power aerospace innovation. As a Facilities Electrical Engineer , you'll design, safeguard, and modernize mission-critical power systems that ensure safety, resilience, and continuous production for aircraft programs essential to both national defense and commercial aviation. In this role, you will lead highly viable and complex projects ranging from medium-voltage distribution and standby power systems to controls and commissioning, while collaborating with top technical talent and experienced leaders who will mentor and challenge you.

What you'll do:
Lead electrical design and documentation for buildings, equipment, utility systems, and site infrastructure by developing technical Statements of Work, preparing cost estimates, translating customer requirements into viable design solutions, reviewing and approving final designs, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards including NFPA, NEC and local regulations.
Manage construction, commissioning, and vendor activities by review contractor proposals, supporting vendor selection, coordinating with government and regulatory agencies, monitoring contractor, vendor and consultant performance, track project progress and leading commissioning, startup and troubleshooting efforts as needed.
Drive reliability, standards, and infrastructure planning by performing root-cause and reliability analyses such as life-cycle assessments, conditioned based maintenance (CBM), MTBF, FMEA and fault tree analysis; developing and updating design standards and site-specific operating procedures; participating in technical committees, and recommending capital improvements based on short- and long-term studies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
5+ years of experience supporting medium voltage power distribution, backup generators, and/or industrial lighting systems
5+ years of experience working in a facilities engineering role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
5+ years of experience reading electrical schematic diagrams
Experience with industrial control systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and instrumentation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit software
Experience with Control Systems such as Allen-Bradley, NLight, Payne Sparkman, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, TRANE, Honeywell, Johnson , etc.
Experience planning medium voltage substation preventative maintenance
Experience with reactive maintenance for building electrical systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $103,700 - $140,300
Summary Pay Range for Senior Level: $126,650 - $171,350
