As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Gate in Crystal Springs, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document entries and deliveries. You will stay visible at key checkpoints, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns as they arise. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing visitors, contractors, and vendors to approved areas.

Monitor entry and exit points for employees, guests, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access to manufacturing and industrial operations areas.

Screen vehicles and delivery traffic as required, confirm shipping and receiving paperwork, and coordinate access for trucks at gates and/or docks.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.

Operate access control systems, intercoms, and related security-related equipment to verify authorization and maintain accurate access logs.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as directed by site procedures. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Complete shift activity reports, incident reports, and access logs with clear, detailed, and timely information.

Provide directions and assistance to employees and visitors, support orderly lobby and gate operations, and communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather response, and accountability processes, as outlined by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
