As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access points, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with on-site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire or equipment alarms, and access control concerns.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production floors as permitted, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and building perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Perform access control duties by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors, contractors, and drivers to designated areas.

Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other site systems; report irregular conditions and coordinate response per post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and dock areas, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures for deliveries and pickups.

Observe for and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or suspicious activity; escalate concerns through the appropriate channels.

Document patrol activities, incidents, and shift turnovers in written and/or electronic reports with accurate, timely, and detailed information.

Communicate clearly with site management, operations staff, and local emergency services as needed, maintaining professionalism during high-volume production periods.

Support site emergency procedures by assisting with area notifications, evacuation guidance, and incident scene control as directed by site leadership and/or responding authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
