Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support shipping and receiving operations by observing activity, reporting concerns, and assisting visitors and team members with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, including warehouse areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter.

Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle activity at gates, dock areas, and/or yard entrances, verifying credentials and directing drivers to designated areas per site policy.

Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting entries and exits in site logs.

Perform rounds of loading docks and trailer staging areas to help to deter theft, damage, and/or unauthorized access, and report unusual activity.

Monitor cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems, and take appropriate action based on site procedures and post orders.

Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports, including detailed descriptions and follow-up actions taken.

Assist with securing doors, gates, and restricted areas by checking for signs of forced entry, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations.

Support site operations during high-traffic periods, including coordinating with on-site personnel regarding deliveries, pickups, and/or restricted-area access.

Minimum Requirements:

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
