About theJob
As the
Director, Campaign Marketing, reporting to the Vice President of Growth
Marketing, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a
team of omnichannel Campaign Marketing Managers, each focused on a specific
market segment. Additionally, you will oversee an Events Manager, ensuring our
tradeshow strategy and execution align with overall campaign objectives.
You will
provide strategic oversight, ensure alignment of vertical marketing initiatives
with overall business objectives, and drive collective revenue impact across
these critical segments. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional
with a strong track record of leadership, strategic planning, and a deep
understanding of how to translate market insights into measurable business
growth. You will be a key contributor to our marketing leadership team, shaping
our approach to market engagement and customer acquisition.
What youwill do
TeamLeadership & Development:
Manage, coach, and mentor a team ofmarketing and event managers fostering a high-performance, collaborative,and innovative team culture.
Set clear performance objectives,conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide constructive feedback, andsupport individual career development paths.
Facilitate knowledge sharing, bestpractices, and cross-vertical learning among team members, includingeffective strategies for integrating event marketing into broadercampaigns
Act as an escalation point forchallenges and provide guidance on complex marketing strategies andexecution, including tradeshow strategy and logistics.
StrategicLeadership:
Develop and own the comprehensivecampaign marketing strategy, to ensure alignment with global corporateobjectives, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Provide strategic oversight for thetradeshow and event marketing strategy, ensuring events are effectivelyintegrated into campaign plans and deliver strong return on investment(ROI).
Review and approve individualvertical marketing plans, ensuring they are data-driven, customer-centric,and poised to deliver significant ROI.
Identify synergies andopportunities for collaboration across different vertical segments tomaximize efficiency and impact, including leveraging events to supportmultiple segments.
Contribute to the broader marketingleadership team, shaping overall marketing strategy and priorities.
PerformanceManagement & Reporting:
Accountable for the overallperformance and ROI of all campaign marketing initiatives, includingtradeshows and event marketing.
Establish executive-level KPIs,comprehensive forecasting, and robust reporting frameworks. Establish andmonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire verticalmarketing team, focusing on lead generation, MQL-to-SQL conversion,pipeline contribution, and revenue attribution.
Aggregate and analyze performancedata across all vertical campaigns, identifying trends, insights, andareas for optimization.
Prepare and present regularperformance reports and strategic recommendations to the head ofmarketing, sales leadership, and other senior team members.
Ensure the team consistently meetsor exceeds targets for lead generation, opportunity creation, and revenuecontribution.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as a key member of themarketing leadership team and collaborate directly with senior executives(e.g., Head of Marketing, Head of Sales North America, Business UnitLeads) to influence overall business strategy, resource allocation, andmarket direction.
Act as a primary liaison betweenthe vertical marketing team and key internal collaborators, includingSales Leadership, Product Marketing, Global Marketing, and MarketingOperations.
Ensure seamless integration ofvertical marketing efforts with broader marketing campaigns and salesenablement initiatives.
Represent the vertical marketingteam in strategic planning meetings and cross-departmental projects.
Build strong
relationships with sales leaders to ensure marketing efforts directly support
their revenue objectives and provide essential sales enablement.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing,Business, or a related field.
8+ years progressive leadershipexperience in B2B marketing
Demonstrated success in developing,executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns that drivemeasurable leads, opportunities, and revenue.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, andmotivate a team to achieve ambitious goals.
Strong strategic planning,analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translatecomplex data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication,presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing andcollaborating effectively with senior stakeholders.
Results-oriented mindset with astrong focus on ROI and accountability.
What makesyou a Standout
Master's degree in Marketing orBusiness Administration.
Experience managing marketinginitiatives across multiple distinct vertical markets.
Experience working in a large,global, or matrixed organization.
Experience in the asset managementspace or similar.
Demonstrated experience in eventmarketing, tradeshow planning, and budget management for lead generation.
