As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and coworkers, and respond to requests with strong customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout aerospace and defense production areas, hangars, offices, parking areas and perimeter boundaries. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization and directing visitors, vendors and/or contractors to appropriate check-in locations.

Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems as assigned, and report irregular activity per post orders.

Complete routine security-related logs and incident reports with accurate details, and communicate significant events to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Conduct perimeter checks of gates, doors, fenced areas and restricted zones to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages or damaged barriers.

Support emergency and non-emergency response actions such as building evacuations, shelter-in-place and medical calls by coordinating with site contacts and local responders as directed.

Follow procedures for restricted areas and controlled property by observing for prohibited items, suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.

Provide directions and general assistance to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional presence consistent with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Be 21+ years of age.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
