Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor assigned areas, check doors and key points, observe for unusual activity, and document findings with clear communication. You will also support a welcoming environment by assisting employees and visitors with directions and questions, living our agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Help to maintain a visible presence within a food and beverage production and/or distribution location to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when directed by post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per site policy.

Control access at designated entry points by confirming authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors and directing them to the correct check-in process.

Screen and log visitors, vendors, and contractors, issue temporary credentials as directed, and communicate arrival information to the appropriate site contact.

Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems as assigned, and report and/or escalate abnormal activity per post orders.

Support receiving and shipping operations by monitoring truck yard activity, verifying driver identification, and documenting trailer and seal information when required by site procedures.

Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and on time, using required systems and/or forms.

Provide directions and assistance to personnel and visitors, helping to resolve minor issues before they escalate.

Support site food defense and product integrity practices by observing for unauthorized access to restricted areas and reporting suspicious behavior per policy.

Participate in drills and follow established response procedures for fire, severe weather, medical situations, and/or other site emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
