What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial services location, including the lobby, office areas, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Carry and maintain assigned firearm and other issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.

Perform access control duties by monitoring entries and exits, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.

Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report suspicious activity and/or hazards according to site procedures.

Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.

Assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned, including checks of doors, gates, and controlled access points.

Provide visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptive behavior, and request assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services when warranted.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with employees, customers, visitors, and/or contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card/license.

Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
