Responsibilities Provides advanced hardware and software analysis, evaluation, and recommendations to users of personal computers and associated equipment to include system planning at various locations. Plans, organizes, and implements highly complex and state-of the- art local area networks {LAN) and wide area networks {WAN}. Responsible for the Test, Evaluation, and Certification (TEC) of DoD Information Technology (IT) and/or National Security Systems, within a Joint environment, ensuring interoperability and mission support. Utilizes established programs, systems, or training to guide subordinate performance and career development. Analyzes the need, cost, and feasibility of information technology projects with installed system software and hardware for personal computers on a local area network or a centralized database system. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience serving as a liaison with external organizational partners; Presenting information on products or services to stakeholders; and Identifying and documenting customer requirements for presentation to senior leadership.
